Name: Steven Ballmer
Age: 52
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
CEO Microsoft Corporation
Precis: Steve Ballmer dropped out of Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1980. Eighteen years later, he is fifteen billion dollars wealthier and he is now the brains and the brawn behind the Microsoft corporation.
Work in Progress: Although Ballmer has been CEO of the Microsoft corporation for nearly seven years, it was Bill Gates who stood as the number one man. Last week, Bill Gates announced his almost-retirement as he further separates himself from the company he built thirty years ago. Ballmer wished Gates farewell through tears and now he can turn all of his focus on the long awaited conglomeration of Yahoo and Microsoft. His takeover of Microsoft and foreseeable takeover of Yahoo, and one source reveals possibly taking over AOL, renders him less of a CEO and more of a Napoleon Bonaparte of the internet.
